About Mykel Pereira

SustainTechs was created by me, Mykel Pereira, because of my interest in sustainable technologies and green engineering. While attending high school at Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies in Edison, New Jersey I became interested in sustainable and green engineering. The Academy is a high school with an Engineering focused curriculum while supplying advance courses in both Mathematics and the Sciences. In the fall of 2008 my engineering education continued as I began my engineering studies at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. My goal is to pursue a major in Mechanical Engineering as well as continuing to explore the field of sustainable technologies. Stevens Institute has recently announced the creation of a Green Engineering minor which will further expand my understanding of sustainable technologies.

To help defer the cost of expensive engineering books while attending Stevens Institute of Technology, I have begun to accept sponsored listings on SustainTechs.  If your company is working on sustainable technologies and would like to be featured on SustainTechs, please email me at mykel@sustaintechs.com about a sponsored listing.

While Stevens Institute curriculum will be demanding and my participation in Stevens Men’s Soccer team will be time consuming, I fully intend to continue adding to the SustainTechs website.  I would like to thank the thousands of readers of SustainTechs and hope you continue to enjoy my site.
